Located in Midtown, Brennan's of Houston has long been a staple when it comes to fine dining. Brennan's opened in Houston in 1967 and is the sister restaurant to the famous Commander's Palace in New Orleans. It is the premiere spot for special occasions, pre-theater dining, or just hanging at the bar with friends. Brennan's provides guests with Southern hospitality and Creole based cuisine with a Texas flair. The 7-7-7 Courtyard bar menu features 7 wines, 7 cocktails, and 7 appetizers for $7 each. It's available from 2 to 7 p.m. seven days a week. Don't forget the martinis. Brennan's carries on the Commander's Palace tradition of $0.25 martinis for lunch with the purchase of an entree. One of the best ways to enjoy Brennan's is to take advantage of their prix fixe lunch, brunch, and dinner options available daily. Brennan's will also be participating in this year's Houston Restaurant Weeks offering a 2-course lunch or brunch for $20 or a 3-course dinner for $35. Don't feel you need a special occasion to visit Brennan's. They have a calendar full of events happening throughout the year. Monthly wine and cocktail classes are a fun way to learn about new libations. There's even courtyard socials and date night cooking classes. No matter when or for what reason you visit Brennan's, be sure to grab one or two of their complimentary New Orleans Pralines.
